Overview
Kaltura can be used to create or insert video announcement into Canvas Courses
Instructions
Step 1: Enter the Canvas Course and add an announcement
Step 2: Add title (and optionally) add a description to the announcement
Step 3: Choose External Tools and then Select Embed Kaltura Media
A: to upload media from your device
B: Record directly from your webcam
C: Add a Public Youtube Video
D:Add a pre-recorded video that you have already uploaded into My Media
Step 4: Optionally add a file (i.e. students please read this PDF)
Step 4: Select Announcement Options
Step 5 Save the Announcement (if you have selected the option to delay posting then the announcement won't become visible to the students until the date/time you have selected).
