Overview
It is possible for instructors to download videos that have been created or imported into Kaltura. The download feature must be enabled for each video the user wishes to download.
Special note: only the video owner can download the video (students cannot download a copy of the video).
Instructions
1. Select Media Gallery from Course Navigation.
2. Select the video you wish to create a downloadable link for.
3. Underneath the video Select Actions
4. Choose Edit.
5. Select the Downloads Tab
6. Check the box that says "Source"
7. Click the Save Button (a green status message will briefly appear confirming your choice).
8. Click "Go to Media" and there will now be a Download Option available underneath the video ( Details, Attachments, Download, Share)
10. Select the Download Icon to Download an MP4 of version of the video
