Launching the Virtual Classroom in Canvas

We recommend using a computer to access the Virtual Classroom. You will be unable to launch the virtual classroom in the Canvas app or on a mobile browser. Here are the steps to open the Kaltura Virtual Classroom:

  1. Log in to Canvas.
  2. Navigate to your course.
  3. Click on Media Gallery in the course menu.
  4. Click on the green Join Meeting button to launch the virtual classroom.

If you see a grey No Meeting button, it means your instructor hasn't opened the virtual classroom. Wait a little bit and refresh the page until you see the green Join Meeting button. 

If you don't a button at all, it means that your screen is too small. Zoom out by pressing control (Windows) or command (Mac) and the - key on your keyboard.
