Overview
Your @anderson.edu is tied to the Google Suite and allows full use of Google Docs, Slides, Sheets to submit course work. In order to properly submit a a Google file, you will need to choose the option labeled Google Assignments (LTI 1.3).
Instructions
Step 1: Choose the blue "More" button with three vertical dots
Step 2: Select Google Assignments (LTI 1.3)

Step 3: Press the Select File button and locate the file or files you wish to submit & press the blue Add Button
Step 3b: A warning will appear asking you if it's okay to create a temporary copy of the file for Canvas. Click Attach and wait for file to upload
Step 4: When you are ready, Click Submit Assignment in the bottom right hand corner
