Removing Popup Chrome Notifications

Overview

Sometimes you may see random popup notifications in the bottom right-hand corner of your screen from things like Avast, Norton, Groupon, Flashplayer, Is Your Computer at Risk, etc..  While these popups are harmless; simply closing them does not stop them from reappearing. 

Instructions

1. Open Chrome
2. Go to the top right side, click on the three dots, and choose Settings.
   
3. Under “Privacy and security,” click Site settings.
   
4. Scroll down and click on Notifications.
   
5. Find the popups/offending sites on the list and click the three dots
6. Choose Remove
