Adding videos to pages is a quick process when using the Rich Content Editor. The Embed Kaltura Tool is recommended as it allows for uploads, direct recording and screen capture, linking to public Youtube videos, and importing content from MyMedia Videos can be added just about anywhere in Canvas when you interact with the Rich Content Editor (announcements, discussions, quizzes, assignments, etc.)

Recording PowerPoint slides enables viewers to easily navigate through a video by jumping to a specific slide, or by searching for text in the slide. Admins can configure Kaltura Capture to include automatic slide detection.

In Kaltura Capture, the default selection is the screen as the primary input and the camera as the secondary input. To record only one input, you must select the input and then turn off the secondary one. All input settings are saved for future recordings.
