Overview
Rave Mobile Safety is an emergency alert system capable of delivering messages to your email and phone. All members of the AU community are automatically added to the Rave Mobile Safety using their contact information in AccessAU. To change your contact information with the university:
- Students should download and complete the Change of Information form and return it to the Office of the Registrar.
- Faculty and Staff should download and complete the AU Data Sheet form and return it to Work Life Engagement.
Information about Text Messages
Rave Mobile Safety does not charge subscribers for receiving messages through this service. However, your carrier's standard messaging and/or data charges may apply. Please consult the details of your mobile phone plan.
Text messages are recurring and sent on an as-needed basis. Text STOP to 226787 or 78015 or 81437 or 77295 to cancel messages.
You may access technical support by texting INFO or HELP to 226787 or 78015 or 81437 or 77295 at any time.
Testing Your Emergency Alert Contacts
You can test your emergency alert contacts by logging in with your AU username and password (same as AccessAU) at alert.anderson.edu. Click the yellow Test button next to mobile phones and emails that you would like to test. You can also add additional contact information, but this is only for Rave Mobile Safety and will not affect your official contact information for the university.
PLEASE NOTE: You may see a banner underneath the AU logo where you will confirm your mobile number. If this information is correct, you will need to click Confirm. A text message will be sent to your mobile device with a 4-digit code. Put this number in the Confirmation Code box on the website and then click Continue. The next page will tell you that you have successfully added your mobile device to your contact list. Click Done.
