Switching to Webinar Mode in Kaltura Virtual Classroom

Overview

To reduce the bandwidth needed to load your class in Kaltura Virtual Classroom, we recommend switching to Webinar Mode whenever you don't need to see your students. This is also useful when Kaltura Virtual Classroom is loading slowly in your browser.

Instructions

1. In the menu at the top of the Kaltura Virtual Classroom click on the gear icon to open the settings. If you don't see a gear icon, click the three dots to open the menu and click on Settings.
2. Scroll to the bottom of the settings and select Webinar under the Class Mode heading. Click Close.
