Changes to Your Alumni Email Account

In 2010, AU switched to Google as our email provider. The switch provided us with unlimited storage that we could extend to anyone affiliated with AU. Unfortunately, Google has changed its storage policy for education and will soon enable limits on space for Gmail, Drive, and Photos. After careful review and consideration, the University has decided to change the Alumni Email program to new @alumni.anderson.edu accounts that will be email only. We treasure our Alumni and did not make this decision lightly. We hope you agree that we need to focus our storage space on our commitment to current students.

If you are currently a member of the faculty, staff, student body, qualified retirees, or an AU affiliate with an @anderson.edu account, you will continue to use your @anderson.edu account for official university business. As an alum, you have the option of also requesting an @alumni.anderson.edu account for personal use.

Request Your Alumni Email Account (username@alumni.anderson.edu)

  1. Go to the Alumni Email Sign-Up form. To access the form, click on the Raven icon on the left to log in. You will need to log in with your AU email. (see below)

  1. You will be directed to the Alumni Email Sign-Up form. Your name and current AU email address [1] will be automatically filled out based on the information in our records. Your new Alumni Email Address [2] will be the same username as your current AU email address.  Under the heading Email Communication Preferences, you will need to select where you would like the Alumni Office and the University to send you emails in the future [3]. If you would like us to send messages to an address other than your Alumni account, a space will appear to enter your preferred email address [4]. Finally, your sign-up will not be completed without clicking on the Submit button in the grey bar at the bottom of the page.

What Happens Next?

Upon submitting this form, we will create your new AU Alumni email account in 24-72 hours. First, you will receive a message in your current AU email from softdoc@anderson.edu (Subject: Etrieve Flow Notification) approving your account. You do not need to do anything with this email. 

The next day, a confirmation email will be sent to your AU email with information on how to log in to your new account. If you do not receive a confirmation email, please contact the ITS help desk by submitting a Raven Solutions request or calling 765-641-4300.​
