Reporting Phishing Emails Using the Phish Hook Alert Add-On in Gmail

Gmail Inbox

To use the Phish Alert Button Add On App in your online inbox, follow the instructions below.

1. On an open email, click on the Phish Alert Button icon in the add-on menu.
   
    

   Important

   Make sure you are using the Phish Alert Button icon found in the add-on menu of your Google mailbox. It is the phish hook icon on the right side of your Google mailbox.

2. Click the Phish Alert button to report the email.
   
3. Once the confirmation message appears, click the back arrow to go back to your inbox. Please note that the email will be moved to the Trash folder once you report the email.

Gmail Mobile

To use the Phish Alert Button Add-on App from your mobile device, follow the instructions below.

1. On an open email, scroll to the bottom and locate the add-ons.
2. Click on the Phish Alert Button icon and scroll down to the bottom to access the Phish Alert Button.
   
3. Click the Phish Alert button to report the email.
   
4. If enabled, you will see a confirmation message and the email will be moved to your Trash folder.
   
5. Click the back arrow to return to your inbox.
