I have tested positive for COVID-19.


As soon as a person is diagnosed with COVID-19, he/she must enter into Isolation so as not to infect others. An apartment in Tara East will be assigned to students who cannot isolate at home. For those students with a meal plan, meals will be delivered by Dining Services and a health care representative will maintain contact to track the well-being of the student.

Self-isolation lasts for at least 10 days, beginning with the onset of symptoms and ending when the individual experiences 24 hours of no fever (without the use of fever-reducing medications) along with the general improvement of other symptoms. A health care representative will assist with the determination of readiness to return to classes and/or work.


Employees and students may return to work/school when they meet the following time-based criteria (as recommended by the CDC):

TEN days following first symptom


ONE day following last fever (without the aid of a fever-reducer)


Improvement of symptoms 
(symptoms do not need to be totally resolved, but the trend should be improving)

What Do I Do Now?

Please isolate immediately and notify the AU Together team by clicking the COVID-19 Form button on the right. Your form submission will be routed to the appropriate person on the AU Together team.

Submissions are private and confidential.

What Can I Expect Next?

After a form is submitted, you can expect someone from the AU Together team to contact (likely by phone). Secure messages related to your case can be accessed in Raven Solutions by logging in using your AU network username and password using the link provided in the email confirmation for your case.
