Overview
REPORTING SYMPTOMS
The following COVID-19 symptoms should be assessed individually on a daily basis:
- Cough
- Shortness of breath; difficulty breathing
- Fever or chills
- Muscle or body aches
- Sore throat
- New loss of taste or smell
- Nausea/Vomiting
- Diarrhea
- Fatigue
- Headache
- Congestion or runny nose
As a part of this screening process, if an individual develops a fever or the presence of symptoms (even if mild), he/she should do the following:
- Stay in place and begin Isolation.
- If at higher risk for severe illness (over 60, with underlying health conditions such as heart disease, lung disease, or diabetes), have a weakened immune system or are pregnant, call your regular health care provider.
- If you have symptoms but are NOT in a high-risk category, contact Campus Health Services at 765-641-4222 for a virtual health appointment (Monday-Friday 8:30 am-4:30 pm). The health care provider will determine if you need to be evaluated further.
- Be prepared to be directed to get a COVID-19 test. Expect to quarantine until test results are available and symptom development warrants a return to work/classes or the initiation of isolation.
- Register your status as symptomatic by clicking on the COVID-19 Form button on the right.
