Overview
Kaltura Videos are automatically machine-captioned as part of the import & upload processes. Users can accept the machine captions as is (generally the captions are between 84-96% accuracy), edit the machine captions, or upload captions. This article will cover how to upload caption files. Note: Caption files should be in .SRT format

Instructions
Navigate to MyMedia and click on Pencil Icon next to the video you wish to upload captions for.
Select the captions Tab and then click the Upload captions file button
Click Browse and locate the file and click Open to upload the file (file should be in .srt format).
Select the language that your caption file, add a Label (title for the caption file), and press the Save button.
Navigate back to the Caption Tab of the Video (MyMedia > Pencil Icon > Captions Tab) and delete the old machine caption (a warning message may appear asking you if you are sure you want to delete the machine caption file). You can distinguish between the machine and user created captions by the Label.
Your video will now exist with your captions.
