Wireless Setup for Macs
On university-owned computers, the Raven Wireless network is sent out with a policy. Since a personal computer is not connected to the Anderson University domain (which allows a policy to be pushed), special steps are required to connect.
Note: if you are connecting a media device (Chromecast, Roku, Apple TV, etc.) you will most likely need to use the Raven Media Network. Raven Wireless uses enterprise-level security and most personal-type devices do not support this.
- In the top right of your screen, click on the WiFi icon and then select Raven Wireless from the list.
- In the box that pops up enter your AU network username and password. Then,click Join.
- Another pop-up is going to ask you to verify the AU Certificate that allows you to authenticate. Click the Continue button.
- Depending on your machine, you will be prompted to either use your TouchID or enter a password. This password is going to be the password you use to log on to your Mac.
- Once you've entered the password, click Update Settings.
