Instructions

You can reset a forgotten password if you have set up a recovery email or SMS option in Okta. This option will not work if you have not set up your account. New students, please see the article How do I create my account for Okta? for more information on setting up your password for the first time.

  1. Go to anderson.okta.com.
  2. Click the Need help signing in? link.
  3. Click the Forgot password? link.
  4. Enter your AU username or AU email address. Then click the Reset via SMS or Reset via Email button to get a message with a link to reset your password.
  5. Click on the link from the SMS or Email and select a new password.

You can also reset your password within the Settings page if you are logged into your Okta account.
