Desktop and Laptop Internet Access

1. Connect an Ethernet cable to your desktop computer or choose "Raven Wireless" if using a wireless adapter. (How to connect to Raven Wireless)
2. Ensure that Windows updates are set to "automatically download and install."
3. Ensure that you have an up to date, running anti-virus. (If you do not have one, we recommend Microsoft Security Essentials. It's free).
4. Remove all peer to peer music sharing programs (Limewire, Frostrwire, etc...) and reboot computer.
5. Open a browser.
6. You will be redirected to the Safe Connect authentication page.
7. Type in your AU username and password.
8. Check the acceptance box.
9. Click Submit.
10. Click on "Yes, I will install the Windows policy key and accept the terms and conditions for internet use."
11. Once the policy key has been downloaded, run it.
12. Click install.

MAC:

1. Remove all peer to peer music sharing programs (Limewire, Frostrwire, etc...) and reboot computer.
2. Open a browser.
3. You will be redirected to the Safe Connect authentication page.
4. Type in your AU username and password.
5. Check the acceptance box.
6. Click Submit.
7. Click on "Yes, I will install the Macintosh policy key and accept the terms and conditions for internet use."
8. Once the policy key has been downloaded, run it.
9. Click continue.
10. Click install.
11. You will be prompted to enter your Mac password.
12. Click Install software.
