Overview

Using Google Chrome, users can create desktop shortcuts that link to web pages. This can be helpful when users want to navigate directly to a webpage by clicking on the desktop shortcut. Common use case scenarios are when users want to go navigate to a Raven Solutions Request Form or the Okta login page with one or two clicks. In this guide, we will use a Raven Solutions Request form as an example. The process for creating shortcuts is similar when using other browsers.

Instructions

Step 1: Navigate to the Service Request you wish to create the shortcut for and press the Orange  Request Help  button

Step 2: Click the three vertical dots
Step 3 Select More tools
Step 4: Select Create Shortcut
Step 5: Rename the Shortcut if you don't like the Default Shortcut Name
Step 6: Press the blue  Create  Button

The new shortcut you created will now be available on your Desktop
