Overview

In order to create a viewable link in a Youtube Video Description, the link needs to be set to Public. This article will walk through the steps of uploading a document into a Google Drive and creating a sharable link that can be posted in the Youtube description. 

Instructions

1.  To create a viewable link in a Youtube Video, you must first upload the file to your Google Drive.  Open Google Drive, click “New,” and then click “File Upload”.

2.  Navigate to the file that you want to upload.

3.  After the file is uploaded, Right Click on the file and select Get Sharable Link.

Click on {1) Restricted and then change the setting from Restricted to Anyone with Link
Click (2) Copy Link to copy the link to the clipboard.
Finally press the (3) Blue Done button to save the changes. 

4.  Paste Link in Youtube Description.

5. Add a title, description (1) Paste the link into the video description (2) set the video visibility/viewing to Public (3) and Click Save (4).
