Overview
Sometimes you will need to know if you have a 64-bit version of Windows or a 32-bit version. This article will show you how to determine which version you have.
Instructions
If you have Windows 10:
- Select the Start button

- Select Settings

- Select

- Select
to open the About settings.
- At the right, under Device specifications, see System type.
You'll see either 64-bit operating system or 32-bit operating system.
If you have Windows 7:
- Select the Start button, right-click Computer, and then select Properties.
- Under System, see the system type.
