Installing the Glide App

Step 1: Download App

If you haven’t already downloaded the app, please go to your app store and download the Glide Pass app.

  • Install on iOS (compatible with iOS 13.1 and higher)
  • Install on Android (compatible with Android 9 and higher)

Step 2: Register

Sign up using your Ravenmail email address. To create an account, you need to complete the following steps:

  1. Review and consent to the Terms and Conditions.
  2. Provide your Name, Surname, and a valid email address.
  3. Capture a Selfie. (Some people report difficulty with this step. Make sure you are in a well-lit area with a plain background. Move the phone around until the circle around your face is green. This probably won't be a picture you'd want share with anyone. It will only appear in the app.)
  4. Glide Pass will send you an email to verify your email address. The subject line for the email will be "Welcome to My Glide Pass." You must verify your account by clicking a link in the email (valid for 48 hours).

iPhone/iPad Users: You will not be able to register unless you have turned on the Passcode feature for your phone. See the Apple article "Use a passcode with your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch" for instructions on doing this.

Step 3: Add the AU pass called “AU Together”

You should have already received an email with the subject "AU Together invites you to Glide." 

  1. Open the invitation email on your mobile device.
  2. Scroll down to the QR code. You can simply hold your finger down on the QR code to trigger your mobile device to scan the QR code for you.
  3. If the QR code is successfully scanned, you will be presented with the Pass Provider’s Terms of Service. You must accept to be able to add passes, including the AU Together Pass. Tap Next.
  4. Tap the Add Pass button.
  5. The status of your pass will be "Pending Verification" until you complete the daily questionnaire. Tap on the AU Together box to open the pass.
  6. Scroll to the credentials and tap on Anderson University (CP).
  7. Tap Add New to take the questionnaire.
  8. Answer the questions and tap Submit.

If you have indicated that you have no symptoms, you will be given a green Valid status. This status lasts for 12 hours.

If you have indicated that you have symptoms, you will be given a red Failed status. You will be prompted to share your information with AU. It is your choice if you would like to do this. You will also be given instructions on what you should do next.

Reporting Problems

If you experience problems installing or using Glide Pass, please complete a Service Request and someone from ITS will contact you.
